About the Position

The Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Executive Director, Artistic Director, and Board of Directors by managing daily administrative functions, coordinating internal and external communications, assisting with events, and maintaining office operations. This is a part-time, flexible position with potential for future growth in arts administration leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the capital campaign, including scheduling, donor tracking, and communications, and provide executive support by managing schedules, deadlines, and confidential matters.

  • Support fund development, help coordinate events, support the board of directors, serve as liaison between internal teams and external contacts, and maintain office operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in the nonprofit or arts sector.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and willingness to learn new systems.

  • A passion for the arts and community engagement.

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

  • Part-time: ~20 hours per week

  • Compensation: $15-$17 per hour, based on experience + Paid Time Off benefit

  • Flexible work options: Some remote work is possible

  • Contract: 12-month position with potential for renewal based on performance and organizational fit and funding
