Use the professional ceramic studio in the Creative Arts Center to work individually on personal ceramic projects. A series of twelve dedicated 3-hour sessions. 

The Open Ceramic Studio will have designated time and dates for the community and AOTL Members to use the ceramic studio located in the CAC building. The purpose of the open ceramic studio is for individuals to work individually on personal ceramic projects. Individuals will need to have had prior ceramics background as no formal instruction on ceramics will be given. During the open Ceramic Studio hours, Dar Eckert, Kathrine McDowell, or other ceramics artists will be available for questions and assistance if needed.  

Equipment: Pottery wheels, slab roller, bats, project boards are available.
  
Supplies: 25 pounds of clay will be included in the cost and additional clay can be purchased.  Clay for purchase can either be stoneware or paper clay. No outside clay can be used unless approved prior to use with documentation of type and cone. We will bisque at cone 06 and glaze at cone 6.  

Commercial glazes are available for use. No outside glazes can be used without approval prior to use with documentation of cone from original container. There will be an additional charge of $5.00 per day for glaze. Glazes will be cone 6. Underglazes are available for use on greenware and an additional $5.00 per day will be charged when used. 

Miscellaneous supplies: plastic bags for wrapping  
Tools: Tools will be available for purchase or artists may bring their own tools.
Limited tools are also available for use.
