Featuring cast members from the hit show, The Church Basement Ladies, the Looney Lutherans are known for their hilarious antics and lighthearted take on Lutheran life and culture. They will bring their signature humor to this special event. Attendees can expect a fun-filled experience that blends faith, joy, and community spirit.
This event serves as a fundraiser for a group of 30 youth and adult leaders from Trinity NYM who will be attending the 2025 National Youth Gathering in New Orleans this coming July. The National Youth Gathering is a transformative experience where young people deepen their faith, grow in fellowship, and celebrate the Lordship of Jesus Christ through worship, learning, and service.

The Looney Lutherans are a group of wacky gals who use music, comedy, and audience participation to share their hilarious (and slightly exaggerated) take on growing up Lutheran. Their performances are both entertaining and inspiring, making them a hit at churches, community events, and gatherings across the country.
About the National Youth Gathering
Held every three years since 1980, the National Youth Gathering is a large-scale event that brings together thousands of Lutheran youth from across the country. It provides an opportunity for young people to strengthen their faith, engage in meaningful discussions, and connect with fellow believers through worship and service.
