Mixed-Media Art Journal for Teens with Kristi Kuder

Session I: Jan.2, 3:30-5:30 pm, Monoprinting on cloth and paper
Session II: Jan. 4, 1-3 pm, Intro to Slow Stitching, Visible Mending
Session III: Jan. 9, 3:30-5:30 pm, Collaging with stitching, glueing, stenciling, stamping, painting
Session IV: Jan. 11, 1-3 pm, Embellishing and completing with beads, wire, ephemera

Begin 2025 in a creative way by creating a beautiful art journal for yourself. We'll have fun painting, printing, stenciling, stamping and stitching with fiber and paper over a series of four sessions. The tactile experience of creating an art journal can be healing and meditative. It can also be a way to learn and expand creative thinking.

These sessions are intended to be an introduction into this exciting contemporary art form and are designed as a series; however, students are welcome to register for single sessions. Ages 13+
