Discover the art of linocut printmaking in this engaging intergenerational workshop led by artist Michael Weatherly! Designed for both youth and adults, this class offers a wonderful opportunity for families to create together or individuals to explore the process on their own. Participants will learn the fundamentals of linocut while crafting postcard-sized prints. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

Class Date: Saturday, February 22 from 1pm - 4pm

Registration Fee: $30/person

Multi-student discount: $5 off registration per additional student.

Adventures in Art: A Hands-On Experience for All Ages!

The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center is excited to announce its latest gallery exhibit: “Adventures in Art”—an interactive installation filled with nature-inspired projects—alongside “Kids Create,” a showcase of incredible artwork by elementary-age students!

Dates: January 29 – February 21, 2025

Location: New York Mills Regional Cultural Center

What to Expect:

Go on a scavenger hunt for animals & plants.

Catch & draw fish in the “fishing pond”.

Make butterflies, birds & animal tracks.

Create leaf texture rubbings.

Relax in the indoor “woods” tent experience!

This unique, self-guided art adventure is designed for kids of all ages (including those young at heart). Whether you're bringing your children, grandchildren, or just your imagination, this exhibit is the perfect blend of art, nature, and creativity—all in the comfort of indoors!
